New D80

I bought a new D80. This is from the first set. The only PP is cropping.

Testing exposure with the D70 this is 2/3rs of a stop under expsosed

It is time to breath some life back into this blog. I need to get out and take some pic's. This is a quick grab of St Patrick's from last fall when the wife and I went to NYC to see the tree at Rockefeller

Bleeding Hearts

This was the first photo I ever with the D70 and kit lens. It is cropped slightly to eliminate the distracting background.
It was cloudy with a slight mist in the air

This was taken with the Sigma 10-20 zoom. It is a chance to get wide angle back into digital. It is a fun lens to play with but a tough one to master.

The singer is my brother in law. He is in a band you can check out their site www.the-valves.net . Every summer he has a band get together at his house this picture was done with a Nikon D70s with a 20-35 F2.8 AF lens.

Sat Morning

Ran out this morning ans snapped of a couple of quick ones.

This was taken on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls with the D70 and the kit lens. It was close to dusk the digital camera allowed me to boost the ISO to get this picture.

Digital

The die is cast I will be doing mostly digital. I find sharing with family and friends on line to be so convenient that I haven't shot film in 6 months. This is from Puerto Rico taken with the D70 and the 18 to 70 kit lens.
